Old Wolf Scat

Wolf Canis lupus scat, Bieszczady Mountains, Poland, November 2008. The dropping is broken into two pieces. The 5 zloty coin is for size comparison. Note the dry nature of the dropping, which indicates that it is old, and the fur and hair content and grey colour, all of which typical for Wolf. Wolves leave their scat in prominent places, as is the case here on a tussock.
