Wild Boar Wallow

Wild Boar Sus scrofa wallow. Slovensky kras, Slovakia, March 2009. Boar and deer both make wallows. Boar wallows are often in more open places than those made by red deer which are usually at more secuded, forested sites. Hoofprints around wallows are often the best way to identify exactly who uses them.
