Trail made by Otter Lutra lutra from land into a channel. Note this is not the so-called "otter-slide" where a path is made on a slope, this is merely a path where the vegetation is parted by an otter taking a regular route. Habitat, food remains, droppings and footprints help identify such trails as made by otters. Hortobagy fishponds, Hungary, August 2009.
