House Martin Nests
This photo shows two rows of House Martin Delichon urbica nests. The house owner had placed a shelf below the top row to catch the droppings that fall down. Credit to him/her as some house owners remove the nests because of the mess the birds make. But these martins subsequently made another row below the shelf!
